attribute NC_GLOBAL summary String Fisheries and Oceans Canada implemented a program to monitor aquatic invasive species (AIS) on the east Atlantic coast starting in 2006 (activities in the five Atlantic provinces). The data in this database are those of the Quebec region, whose territory covered is divided into three maritime sectors: Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Gaspésie and Côte-Nord of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The objectives of this program are to detect new AIS as quickly as possible, monitor their dispersal, and minimize the risk of introduction and dispersal of these species through awareness and rapid response. This dataset contains a monitoring of sea water temperatures in 5 major sectors of Quebec (Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Côte-Nord, Saguenay) for about 60 stations sampled over several years. attribute NC_GLOBAL summary_fr String Pêches et Océans Canada a mis en place un programme de suivi des espèces aquatiques envahissantes (EAE) sur la côte est Atlantique à partir de 2006 (activités dans les cinq provinces atlantiques). Les données présentes dans cette base de données sont celles de la région du Québec, dont le territoire couvert est divisé en trois secteurs maritimes : Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Gaspésie et Côte-Nord du golfe du Saint-Laurent. Les objectifs de ce programme visent à détecter le plus rapidement possible les nouvelles EAE, à suivre leur dispersion et à minimiser les risques d'introduction et de dispersion de ces espèces par le biais de la sensibilisation et d'une réponse rapide. Ce jeu de données contient un suivi des températures de l'eau dans 5 grands secteurs du Québec (Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie, Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Côte-Nord, Saguenay) pour une soixantaine de stations échantillonnés sur plusieurs années.
